Google maps

We could use this map when talking to our children about how far away the other children are. This will give them a view on what kind of place other students live in. We can also talk about how many miles are between both places. This will give students a real life understanding of how far their pen pals are from them.

    I really like it...we could also highlight how close the penpal school is to the equator and how that could effect vegetable growth...

    the map looks awesome, and the distance to the equator is a good idea too
